Mental Health Matters in Education

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) isn’t just a ‘nice to have’ anymore — it’s a critical part of preparing students for life, learning, and wellbeing. The research is clear: when SEL is embedded into school culture and curriculum, it leads to improved mental health, stronger relationships, greater academic outcomes, and more positive behaviour. Simply put, SEL meets students where they are and gives them the tools they need to thrive — right now, and into the future.
